Up for sale is a striking Mondaine "Design Line" wristwatch featuring the world-famous Official Swiss Railways (SBB CFF FFS) dial. While most Mondaine watches are round, this square-cased edition offers a more architectural, mid-century modern look that stands out on the wrist.
DESIGN & HERITAGE
This watch features the legendary 1944 design by Hans Hilfiker, characterized by the easy-to-read bold markers and the famous red second hand (inspired by the dispatcher's paddle). The square stainless steel case is secured by four screws on the case back, emphasizing its "Design Line" industrial aesthetic.
CONDITION REPORT
* Case: The polished stainless steel case is in good vintage condition with honest wear/light scuffing consistent with careful use.
